Secret Project Revealed - Inaugural Zine
So, you may have had guesses as to what the Secret project was that I've been hinting at for weeks, even months now. You also may have been wondering why there has been a lack of concert coverage and other content over the past month or two.
Well, look no further for the reason. Sonically Awkward's Secret Project is here! I've been working feverishly the past 2-3 months on this for you, the readers. I wanted to make something physical for you to read, enjoy and browse to reminisce on the first year of Sonically Awkward.
The inaugural zine is just that. The first in what will hopefully become a string of many more to come. Depending on the draw of this initial zine, I will devote more time to creating more of them - be that quarterly, semi-annually, or even if there's enough interest and enough folks splurge and purchase a couple copies, potentially monthly.
This has been a fun first year, which will be officially marked on February 3. Sonically Awkward is not slowing down, and with the progress and growth experienced in the first year, I can't wait to see where this takes us all in the coming year.
You can view a preview of the magazine with the link below, and can purchase one if you'd so desire as well. The magazine is made with premium materials, and I've received several of the magazines myself, and have distributed some to a couple contributors, and will be handing out a couple more in the near future. The magazine itself is slick, the images are crisp and clear, and I made sure to make the font large enough so as to not force you to strain your eyes upon reading. You can purchase a physical copy for $15, or a PDF-downloadable version for $7.50.
I'd love to hear your reaction to this, and if you somehow guessed that this would be the Secret Project - kudos to you. Once we get to 1,000 followers on Twitter you will get the next Secret Project - good luck guessing that one!
Stay tuned on social media accounts for a giveaway of a copy of the magazine too in the coming days! Thanks to all of you readers who have helped urge me to continue on in this endeavor, and may you continue to stay Sonically Awkward.
